Actually, It seems that the Supreme Court ruling about SS couples in Brazil effectively legalized SSM. I'll give a check and post about It.

Uruguayan Catholic Church "ask forgiveness" to gay community


The archbishop of Montevideo, Monsignor Daniel Sturla, received a delegation of the Association of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT), and asked them "forgiveness" for the actions of the Catholic Church Uruguayan who have "hurt or upset the community. "

Also, the prelate reiterated its willingness to "baptize children who are children of gay couples" and recalled that "as he had publicly admitted having gay friends".
