Wasn't 'Enduring Freedom' originally 'Infinite Justice', but it had to be changed because of Muslim complaints?

Possibly, I can't remember.  Though, the Pentagon likes to use "Freedom" in their operational names.

Thaksin Shinawat - 1

He's just as bad as Bush, or possibly even worse.  Basically a Thai Bush.

Yes and no...if you read a history of the Second World War, you'll notice that if he'd suddenly died in December 41 or something like that, D-Day would likely have occured one summer before (and the unnecessary Italian invasion that year would not have occurred at all.) I give him a lifetime of credit for preventing a ceasefire in 1940...but I can't really think of anything else he's ever done that I wholly approve of.

I don't like Churchill. I won't go into too many details, but his conduct during the General Strike, over India, during the '45 election campaign, over the NHS and in his second, wasted, term (along with some other stuff) makes me dislike him quite a lot.

George W. Bush: disapprove
Jaques Chirac: disapprove
Tony Blair: disapprove
Jose Zapatero: approve
Vladimir Putin: strongly disapprove
Hugo Chavez: approve
Iyad Allawi: irrelevant
Ariel Sharon: he's half dead, so I'll spare calling him a terrorist
Mahmoud Abbas: disapprove
Osama bin Laden: disapprove.  although I admire him for rejecting a comfortable background to go live in a cave and fight for his conception of freedom.  I don't share his ideology nor approve of his tactics, hence disapprove.
Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva: approve
Islam Karimonv: fascist, and simply a mircocasm of what has befallen that region since the collapse of the USSR
Saparmurat Niyazov: unfamilar
Fidel Castro: extremely mixed.  Upon his death, I'll cry for the young lawyer who led resistance against the fascist regime in place in the 40s and 50s, and the man who liberated Havana on new years' day, not the sellout to the statecapitalist sugar daddy and the guy who killed thousands in the 60s.
Robert Mugabe: disapprove.  dolt
Kim Jong-Il: extremely horrible person
Hu Jintao: fascist
bandit73: irrelevant

Also, why are people sympathetic to Hu Jintao?  apparently it's perfectly fine to commend capitalist dictators while spewing hatred at democratically elected socialist like Chavez.

Jintao and Putin are immeasurably worse than Chavez.  Yet people here commend the 'competence' of those two while bashing the left for its admiration of Chavez.
