There is now an unbroken chain of anti-Trump states from Mexico to Canada. Just something to keep in mind when the inevitable civil war breaks out after this election and we're trying to anaconda the pro-Trump forces.
We're going to build a law on the eastern boundary and make Trump pay for it.

A few observations. Firstly, whether it be PPP from two years ago up through the Gravis Marketing poll conducted last Summer, Cruz seems to be leading in Montana. The Gravis Marketing poll is probably the most reliable as of now, although there is certainly no doubt that we need a new poll for Montana. Polls conducted during the Summer of 2015 have little value at this point. I am not sure whether or not it was conducted before the poll that had Trump leading. It is possible.

The poll currently shown on the map was conducted by Montana State University in November. It is the most recent poll of that state listed in the Atlas database.
Maybe switch to gray if the poll is stale (say, 3 months old?)

Interesting, the West/East divide!

Has that appeared before in US politics?
1848 and 1976 maybe.
