This was an internal for Hanabusa.

Governor

Hanabusa- 55%
Abercrombie- 28%
Not sure- 15%

Senate

Hanabusa- 54%
Schatz- 32%
Not sure- 13%

This doesn't really surprise me, as Schatz has been active on climate issues, but the LCV has endorsed him.

It's going to be really awkward if Schatz primary challenges the guy who appointed him to the Senate.

He'll try to stay in the Senate no doubt; I just posted that here because this was the only thread with Hawaii stuff.

Hanabusa only raked in $230K last quarter. Not especially impressive by any means.

Hanabusa isn't a very intelligent woman. She isn't even House material. I hope Schatz can hang on. Fundraising looks solid.

I really don't get all the hate for Hanabusa.

It's not about her personally as much as it is about the ethics of her claim to the seat and what Inouye chose to do in his final days.  You don't get to will your senate seat in this country, no matter who you are.  It's not a title of nobility!

It sounds like Napoleon's criticism is more directed at Hanabusa herself Tongue
