It's a typo of course, but I couldn't resist.

Which, the typo or that Graham looks to have no real problems in being reelected.

The second one. The first is just amusing.

What the hell? Where do these accusations of homosexuality come from?

No one says he's gay. But many people mistake him for an elderly lesbian due to his name and appearance.

This poll was clearly conducted by The Gay Agenda™.

There is some element of society that assumes pretty much any single adult is homosexual.

Yeah, I have to agree with TJ on this one. Graham may not have a history of romantic relationships with women, but there's nothing in existence to suggest he's attracted to men simply because of that. Just because one doesn't like apples doesn't mean they have to like oranges. Tongue

Anyway, looks like his approvals are decent. A +12 spread will easily be enough to push him over the line in South Carolina, especially since a primary challenge now appears unlikely.

SC is also an inelastic state.  It appears within reach for Democrats, but voters there are very heavy set in their voting, and it's almost completely race-based (blacks 85-95% Dem whites 75-85% GOP)

A white democrat could still potentially win a statewide race there, and demographic shifts will certainly put the state in play in the future.

That said, Graham is safe.

Sheheen is the only white Democrat right now with a reasonable shot at winning a statewide office other than Superintendent of Education.  However, if he runs in 2014, it'll be for a rematch with Haley.

Graham's biggest threat will come from the right. I hope the tea party doesn't primary him in any serious manner.

They may try, probably with a State Senator who is just trying to gain some name recognition, but I can't see them succeeding.  (A State Senator because State Senators don't have to risk their existing office to run in gubernatorial election years.

You'll note that they did not mention the upstate in that ad, and its not just because there isn't much that is touristy there.

April poll has been released, with the same typo.  Graham has taken a big hit among GOP voters since February.  Still more than good enough for him to coast to reelection, provided he doesn't keep falling.
