Well, I read the Onion constantly......they're not always funny even though that's the intent.  They effed up....they apologized (sort of), so move on.

Uh, what would you think if one of our brilliant blue avatars called Sandra Fluke that during those threads about it? And in this case it was against a 9-year old girl.

I doubt it was even the word, if it was against Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann no one would care

It's a joke about how ridiculous the entertainment press is in their treatment of women (see, for example, people constantly attacking Anne Hathaway for being too dramatic or trying too hard, whatever that means). They weren't actually calling the girl a c**nt.

I actually know an Onion employee! He wrote for the satirical news magazine at my university. Maybe he even tweeted that comment, he was known for publishing some pretty hilariously offensive stuff...

Haha no, it's funny. Then again, my 12-year-old sense of humor makes me think any and all uses of the C-bomb are gold. Calling a little girl one makes it all the more funny for the juxtaposition as well as her obviously not being one. It is satire, after all...
