Yeah, you can't run for another office as an incumbent POTUS. Not that he did much as a Senator anyways... but I still sorta like Truman's idea of ex-Presidents getting non-voting seats in the Senate.

It would be interesting to have a president run for office after being president. Only John Q Adams, John Tyler and Andrew Johnson held elective office after being president. According to wikipedia Andrew Johnson ran for Senate while president. So basically no one has done it in like 150 years.
