Thank God Pubs have a referee here, and a legendary guv at that! King's been making a lot of noise but only Latham has done anything concrete- namely switching his campaign committee to Iowans for Latham. Hopefully this means Latham's the candidate after all.

Branstad is not SO popular in Iowa (popular yes, but remember he just won by around 10 points in the primary and in the general), besides Republicans in Iowa tend to be very conservative and they could choose the more conservative candidate regardless if this guy (of course King) has a reasonable chance to win.

I didn't realize the governor of Iowa gets to decide who is nominated for the Senate! It's the People's Seat. They should choose, not Terry Branstad.

Democrats obviously want King. Both on this forum and in Iowa. By obvious reasons)) Will Republicans be so kind to comply?))) In the last years they already ran a lot of complete idiots like O'Donnell, Angle, Mourdock, Akin and so on. Do they want to continue such idiocy and give democrats more and more seats?))))
