State Dems are certainly thinking about it. I'll bet that Tim Johnson does retire, and they'll have to pick either Brendan or SHS.

The Dakotas seem to have a long history of sympathy towards Dems, but that doors is closing if the best they can muster is Tim Johnson's son.
