I thinks Inks would prefer to be judge, jury and executioner, no?  Tongue

Inks would at least try to be objective. Opebo would just give it to whoever bribes him most.

Please stop making all of these "opebo vs. _" polls. We're still not going to vote for the former.

Also, Inks.

Is this a judge I want productive or just a placeholder? Inks in the first case, opebo in the latter case.

Judges being objective based only on the literal reading of the law, at least in the US, can be quite disastrous. For another example of how bad this can be take a look at "zero tolerance" school policies.

Inks.  I can't imagine why anyone would think opebo would be a better judge than he.

Because he is so obsessed with enforcing the literal word of the law with no room for flexibility and leeway.

If you promise to actually read all of them, I'll send you my case briefs from class so far.  Then tell us if you still hold this view.  But you have to promise to read all of them.

I never said Inks would be a good judge. But it's pretty clear Opebo would be even worse.

How can the demonstrated disaster Inks be 'winning' this poll?  I had no idea the forum was so filled with blind ideologues.

Undoubtedly. With poll results like these, perhaps FC needs moderation after all - by an Associate Justice, of course.

I'll actually extend this offer to anyone who would like to read my notes.

BRTD, I'm a bit disappointed you haven't accepted my offer.  Once again, forum members go around making untrue assumptions.

Depends on how long it'd take to read a lot of case briefs.

That's not true. The problem he just makes the law up himself, there is no literal word of the law.
