I wonder if anyone here has a high-profile congresscritter (Boehner, Cantor, Ryan, Pelosi) representing them.

I'm living in Pelosi's CD right now. Wink

Mine is 5th in seniority and used to chair Appropriations (currently chairs the Defense Subcommittee).

Shocked I have a special place in my political heart for Nancy Pelosi. Or, as Bill Maher calls her, co-Speaker of the House

I too, even before I knew she was from SF (which makes her even more awesome).

Since the others are putting up their non-US representatives:
Olav Gutting (CDU / Bruchsal-Schwetzingen) seems to be a typical backbencher with no ideas of his own. HP.

That's a good way of describing my MdB as well. Patricia Lips (CDU / Odenwald).

My MP, Isabelle Morin (NDP), is a useless name-on-ballot who doesn't even live here. Does try and connect with the riding, but still awful. My MNA, Kathleen Weil (PLQ), is an FF representing the mega-HP PLQ.

My French deputy, however, was good and actually some serious good sh**t and actually communicated with constituents (unlike my actual MP...). But she was invalidated and I'll get some useless deputy who is either a retard (Lefebvre) or a dumb toolbox (Giscard's son).

Yeah, she's not bad. I'd vote for her if she ran for Governor.

My mom knew Gregg Harper in college.  Apparently he was just as big of an asshole then as he is now.

My Congresswoman is scary.  Literally.  Kristi Noem would make a good Halloween costume.

Lummis is perilously close to being objectively atrocious, and I mean this even on a personal level. Her votes against the PATRIOT Act renewal and the NDAA are literally all that save her.

I still don't like Lois Frankel, though so far she has seem to have done a less then horrible job. She has taken on the "Mr. (Mrs., in this case) Smith goes to Washington" mantle, and seems very involved in trying to bring home the bacon. She is not nearly as obnoxious and irritating as she was when she was Mayor of West Palm. This is probably because she is just a backbencher who doesn’t have the support of the political machine she created down here.

I don't like how my hometown was gerrymandered into a district with Bill Shuster who is from out by Gettysburg while we have three or four other Congressmen of both parties who are closer to here than Shuster is. So, not only are we now represented by a Republican, but a Republican who probably has no idea where the hell Monongahela is. I'd rather be represented by Murphy, even if he's a Republican, because at least he's local.
