I'd be surprised if there's more than 10...he might even get it unanimous.

Somewhere in the teens sounds about right. Kerry isn't some universal hero; he's a respected elder statesman but he's certainly seen his fair share of controversy in the past and I'm pretty sure public opinion polling in very heavy R areas would show a majority of people don't want him confirmed.

I'd be surprised if Paul voted for him.

Less than 10 will vote against Kerry... maybe even less than 5.

The GOP got their pound of flesh by killing the Susan Rice nomination before it even happened. Any votes against Kerry will just be spiteful 'i hate Democrats and president Blackenstein' types.

If Paul voted yes in the committee, I have no reason to doubt why he would not vote against him in the Senate at large.

Well, it is possible serving with Kerry would sway him for sure....the Senate is a fraternity away from the microphones and cameras.

Rolling call under way now.

Rand Paul just voted yes, only no votes I've heard thus far are the two Senators from Texas, John Cornyn and Ted Cruz.

EDIT: Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma also voted no.

Cornyn and Inhofe voted for Hillary, only 2 voted against (DeMint and Vitter). Was Vitter the 'present' vote for Kerry?

Have Scott and Schatz been sworn in?

94-3 is surprisingly lopsided. I thought there'd be like 10 no votes.
