Puerto Rico & Scotland Need Saving!

It comes as no surprise to many of us that Atlasia is populous and thriving. Consisting of approximately 190 160 220 citizens, it is evident that some regions are growing and becoming more spectacular by the day collapsing faster than Democrats in 2010 growing and becoming more spectacular by the day. A quick glance at the following map will show you just how well this growth is distributed:

Past Updates:

Look closer. Not all states are thriving. Some of them are barely surviving. They're clinging to bare life, hoping that someone will rescue them and give them what they need. Representation. Electoral clout. A stable tax base. Will you look into the eyes of these states and tell them no?

With just these two quarters, you can use a payphone to call your family and tell them that you've moved to another state. For the love of God, these states are nearly gone!

STARVING STATES:

  • Puerto Rico (South) - 0 PEOPLE
  • Northern Ireland (Fremont) - 0 PEOPLE SAVED!
  • Scotland (Lincoln) - 0 PEOPLE

FAT-CAT STATES:

  • New York - 14 PEOPLE
  • California - 13 PEOPLE
  • Virginia - 12 PEOPLE
  • Florida - 10 PEOPLE
  • Massachusetts - 10 PEOPLE
  • Pennsylvania - 10 PEOPLE

Forgot Puerto Rico (1) and Oceania (0).

I knew about Puerto Rico, but since it was inhabited I did not fret. However, with Oceania's emptiness, the situation is even worse than we imagined.

DC Al Fine
Virginia Maryland
Federalist Party

DC Al Fine has graciously moved to Maryland! Now we need someone in DC!

Many thanks to this fine sponsor. Who else will step up to the plate and save these other struggling states?

How often can you change your state of residence within the same region?

Once every 24 hours to my knowledge.

Thanks to drj101 for stepping up to the plate and saving yet another one of our treasured states. There are only 4 left: 3 in the Pacific and 1 in the Midwest.

We've shifted focus; all regions have been freed from this horrible plight - except the Pacific. Please, reach out to a state in need!

Oceania is marked gray on your map, but I believe that Wolfentoad lives there.

If he did, it's not showing up on homely's Census counts.

I have moved to Arizona from California. Smiley

Bless you, good sir!

Do I take any credit for having singlehandedly "saved" Hawaii for over a year now? Smiley

You may now accept your accolades. Tongue

And yes, those CALIFORNIAN AND WASHINGTONIAN FATCATS REFUSE TO AID THEIR SUFFERING STATES! It must be a Pacific thing, to be so apathetic about the suffering around them.

Hey, I recruited 100% of Idaho's, New Mexico's, and Utah's population, Griffin! Angry

Unfortunately, none of those states were part of the Save Our States program (as they had already been saved and therefore, do not count). Oceania and Alaska still continue to suffer, while 71% of the Pacific lives high on the hog in CA & WA. Unacceptable! Angry

URGENT UPDATE: Another state has succumbed to the whims of Atlasia's cruel nature. Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down the plain and carries all its citizens away. Once a booming hub with 2 residents, Oklahoma had an immediate implosion after the Presidential election, in which one de-registration and one intra-regional move left it barren.

This is no longer just a crisis in the Pacific. Once thought to be contained somewhere west of Colorado, it has reared its ugly head once again in a new region.

I find it funny/ironic that the guy leading the charge here lives in one of his so-called "fat cat" states.

Obesity has never been a liability in the South. Ideally, each region should have a fat-cat state in conjunction with every other state also being populated, as I think that is a sign of virility. Besides, I think we all agree that Georgia is a far better fat-cat state than, god forbid, Florida or Texas.

Eh, since Capitals don't seem to matter too much, I might as well return my registration to Oklahoma.

Glorious!

With this news, only one state remains unadopted: Alaska.

I'll be more than happy moving to Arkansas to even out the IDS numbers.

Thanks! Although I think with your move, AR has 3 people now - I need to do an updated version of this map. I'll try to get one up later tonight.

Is there a way to save a state without having to actually move there? If so, I'm adopting ma bro Wyoming! Smiley

I suppose you could create a SOCK and move it there, but that'd get you banned. Tongue
