Given how the Atlasian polling industry seems to be dead after the retirement of Wulfric and his WNN, I guess Tack polls now has a monopoly Tongue

In any case, here is a simple approval ratings poll. Tick everyone you approve of.

For this poll I decided to include all federal officials as well as the 4 heads of the regions. This includes:

The President and VP
The 6 Senators
The 9 Representatives
The 4 heads of the regions (2 from Lincoln, 1 from Fremont and 1 from the South)
The cabinet secretaries (SoS, AG, SoFE, RG)
The Game Moderator
The 5 Supreme Court Justices

For people holding multiple offices I merged all their offices into 1

This is also by far the longest poll I have ever done, but it will be a nice experiment regardless, especially considering it is polling almost all officeholders in Atlasia Tongue

With 20 voters I feel comfortable doing a preview of the results. However I will have to divide the #Analysis into several sections. Here are the results:

Peanut: 70%

NCYankee: 80%
Louisville Thunder: 40%

PyroTheFox: 50%
tack50: 65%
Scott: 75%
Devout Centrist: 60%

Encke: 40%

cinyc: 40%
Lumine: 75%

Blair: 65%
Elcaspar: 55%
Thumb21: 80%

Razze: 60%
Leinad: 75%

Truman: 75%
Sestak: 75%
Jimmy7812: 60%

West Midlander: 30%

Peebs: 85%
bruhgmerger2: 60%
Ninja0428: 50%

Windjammer: 70%
Gass3268: 70%
Bacon King: 70%

PiT: 55%
ilikeverin: 55%

#Analysis

I will be looking back at the last public poll to get an idea of how people have evolved and the usual levels of popularity. That last poll is the Wulfric Exit Poll from the February election, which was not published on Atlas (or I can't find it), but I did find a Discord copy.

Presidency

Both the president and the vicepresident seem to be reasonably popular, wiht a popularity rating of 70%. While this does not put them quite in the "everybody loves them" category, it is still a high approval rating, so things should be looking good for the president in the midterm elections.

This poll is an improvement for Pericles since the election, though Peanut's popularity has gone down a bit.

Senate

NC Yankee keeps retaining his place as one of the most popular officeholders in all of the nation and his approval is stable since February. This is also great news for his reelection and he could even go unopposed. However, his colleage Louisville Thunder has one of the lowest approval ratings in all of Atlasia, at a miserable 40%. This is also a small decline from February when he was at 46%.

In Lincoln, both senators are above water. However PyroTheFox is only at 50% meaning he is somewhat unpopular during his final month in office, certainly below the national average. Meanwhile his colleague tack50 solidly puts himself as one of the most "meh" people in all of Atlasia, a solid "middle of the pack" politician Tongue However this means tack's approval rating has dropped sharply, going from more than 80% back in February to a measly 65%.

In Fremont, Senator Scott positions himself as a very beloved politician after his exit from the Labor party, it seems to not have hurt him in the slightest, keeping an approval rating of 75%; just shy of the "most beloved in Atlasia" category and stable since february. His colleague Devout Centrist is around average in popularity, at 60%.

(House, Regional governments, Cabinet secretaries and Justices coming soon)

Anyways here is part 1.5 of my wave 1 release; now with 24 voters! More #analysis to watch:

House

The 2 Federalist representatives have rather low approval ratings. ReaganClinton, a moderate federalist, has a measly 54% approval rating, and this is a huge drop from his earlier approval fo 70%. The other Federalist, Encke, has an even lower approval rating of 42%. Overall not good for their reelection prospects.

The 2 independents are nothing alike. Cinyc also sports a very low approval rating, at only 42%; the 2nd most unpopular officeholder in the nation tied with Encke. Meanwhile Lumine is very popular at 75%, up there with the best of the best.

The 3 Labor representatives all have similar, but not quite the same approvals. Blair has a 58% approval, slightly below average. Elcaspar is one of the Laborites closest to being beow water at exactly 50%. Finally Thumb21 has a very good approval rating of 72%. While Thumb's approval has remained stable, the approval of Blair and Elcaspar has dropped significantly.

Finally the 2 Peace representatives are in a similar situation. Razze has a 54% approval while his colleague Leinad has a better approval of 67%. This is a massive drop for Razze, while Leinad seems to have improved slightly

Winners: Leinad
Losers: ReaganClinton, Blair, Elcaspar, Razze
Stable: Thumb21
N/A: Encke, Lumine, cinyc

Overall Labor's slate seems slightly more popular, though the right has the most popular representative.

Regional officers

It seems the Kansan annexation crusade has not hurt the First Minister of Fremont. Harry Truman has a pretty good approval rating of 71%; and this is even an increase from February! Further proof Atlasia demands Kansan annexation /s

Sestak, the only LJP officeholder in the nation also is tied in his approvals with Truman. It seems Trotsky-Biden-Budhism is popular in Lincoln, though this approval is stable from February. However his chancellor, Jimmy7812 sports a relatively mediocre 54% approval.

If there is one big Loser in this poll, it is the Governor of the South, West Midlander. He has a paltry 38% approval rating, the lowest in the nation. If his governorship can be summed up in one sentence, it seems it will be summed up as "Atlasia traditoribus non reddere".

Cabinet secretaries

The cabinet secretaries are very varied. Peebs sports the highest approval rating in all of Atlasia, at 79%; despite her claims to the contrary Tongue She is a beloved institution of this country.

However the rest of the cabinet has much lower approvals, with the Secretary of state bruhgmger2 just at 54% and Game Moderator Ninja0428 even lower, at exactly 50%

It seems the cabinet outside the RG/SoFE is somewhat unpopular

Supreme Court

Finally we get to the Supreme court, and to my knowledge this is the first poll to ever poll the approvals of the justices (not unsurprisingly as that area of government rarely intervenes). It seems to be divided into 3 tiers.

First we have Chief Justice Windjammer, with a 71% approval rating, and probably the most active justice in Atlasia. It seems he is popular and doing a good job.

A level below that we have Gass3268 and Bacon King, both with a "normal" approval rating of 63%.

Finally below that we have justices PiT and ilikeverin, who seem somewhat unpopular at 54%. This is especially surprising in particular with regards to ilikeverin. While some people do remember PiT's "scandal", ilikeverin is surprisingly tying PiT and not surpassing him. Then again PiT is probably a more well known figure so that is also a factor.
