I was under the impression that the Alaska Republican establishment was coalescing around Mead Treadwell. Either way, a potential Miller entry would be welcome. Smiley

Treadwell should be fine but the easiest way is to announce immediately like SMC did.

I really love how the Republicans seem determined to lose next year, just as they did last year.

I can't say I'd have any complaints here.

They just weren't conservative enough. They have to return to "true conservatism" to stand a chance.

If Joe Miller won the primary, who here thinks that Lisa Murkowski would just say screw it and endorse Mark Begich?

That's probably a good possibility, though she'd most likely just be silent about it.

I'm not. Miller is incredibly arrogant, which was a big part of what cost him last time.

Sad part is, Miller would probably win that match-up.

I doubt that. Isn't Parnell very popular? Plus, he has the conservative grassroots credentials from his 2008 run against Young. I imagine he'd be the perfect person to crush Miller.

I think every Alaska Republican and their mother is going to run, so this shouldn't be looked at as if he's going to be the candidate.
