Tom Price (Georgia 6th)  Cherokee County was moved to another district so now the district is less tea partyish and more mainstream Republican. Someone more moderate would be a better fit now.

he's likely to give his seat up anyways and run for the senate.

What's wrong with Grijalva?  Maxine Waters, Judy Chu (SOPA co-sponsor), Corrine Brown, Steven Lynch, John Tierney, John Conyers (he's been there for fricken 50 years!), Sheila Jackson Lee, Yvette Clark (see her Colbert interview for the reason), Nydia Velazquez, William Lacy Clay, Jr., and John Barrow are the Democrats that come to mind.  Pete Stark would also be if he weren't successfully primaried in this election cycle.  Don't know enough about the Republicans, though.

You'd rather have some right-wing ideologue? The district voted handily for Romney, remember.

Duckworth is at least a strong fundraiser and potentially a very telegenic spokeswoman, and I don't understand why Benishek is on this list at all.

I could be wrong but I'm under the impression that she's a Darcy Burner of sorts who just speaks in platitudes and is very much an outsider in her district (ie someone who relies on a lot of out of state money). The fact that she beat a one term incumbent by ten points may sound impressive, but when you compare to Bill Foster who unseated a more tenured stronger incumbent by 15 points, I'm not sold yet on Duckworth.

Duckworth was originally recruited by Rahm to run in 2006 for the seat vacated by Henry Hyde. She didn't live in the district, and beat a genuine homegrown Dem in the primary. She narrowly lost to Roskam despite a huge amount of money poured into the campaign.

She was given a number of high profile posts after that to keep her viable. Like 2006 her 2012 campaign featured lots of photo ops in district, but not much about the specific issues of the district. She strikes me as the sort of candidate who would fit well in a safe parliamentary seat reserved for second-tier ministers.

I'm not talking about CFG or !!!BOLD PROGRESSIVE!!! purity trolling but getting rid of incumbents who are considered bad and often run behind the generic candidate and are either eyesores for their district and/or could be replaced by a stronger candidate. Here's my list

Raul Grijalva
Jerry McNerney
Tammy Duckworth
Jacky Walorski
Dave Loebsack
Dan Benishek
John Tierney
Michele Bachmann

any others?

I'm sorry but Loebsack is one of the best Democrats in Congress.
Grijalva seems to get a lot of hate from the right, but he's never done anything embarrassing.  He's a very intelligent guy and his activism on issues that concern hispanics is needed in a state like Arizona with anti-hispanic laws and an anti-hispanic administration.
