Article.

With Asa Hutchinson becoming the primary favorite for Governor, this makes sense. Darr is probably near the top of the Republican's B list here; while he's a statewide official, he barely scraped by in 2010 and he has no legislative resume.

As the article notes, Cotton has been mum on running. Womack is still feasible as well, but he was just put on the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee; its hard to see him giving up a super-safe seat and a choice committee position.

I think Cotton or Womack should do this. Darr's a poor fundraiser who probably doesn't have the skills to be more than a decoy. Why settle for a second-rate decoy when you have first-rate potential winners, one of whom already has a national profile?
