Here. Johnson is the only Dem incumbent marked as Tossup.

Johnson as the only tossup for a Dem-held seat is clearly wrong.  I think he just might win if he runs this time because of sympathy for him over his stroke a few years ago (I don't wish him ill, but that can have an effect).  Jane Norton could give Mark Udall a run for his money if she runs in Colorado, and we still have yet to know who all is running (or not running) next year.  The only incumbent to announce his retirement thus far is Rockefeller, but there are plenty of others who could do the same between now and the state filing deadlines.

looks about right. I bet in the end the Dems lose 1-3 seats but they will not lose control of the Senate.

I wonder if we will get another year with a safe GOPer being primaried by a tea partier who ends up losing the seat.

He's optimistic on some Democratic incumbents like Landrieu and Begich (but that's probably because they have yet to draw a strong challenger atm). Otherwise, he's done a pretty good job.

For early rankings, this seems fairly accurate. I predict that 2014 will be a fairly boring midterm, at least for the House/Senate elections.

He mustn't have updated the PVI's for some states. WV-03 is still only R+6.

Remember, you guys, a lot of incumbents have to announce whether they'll run for reelection, and a lot of potential challengers have to announce their intentions, so take this with a grain of salt.  I rember at this point in the 2008 campaign when Hillary Clinton was supposed to easily win the presidency against almost any Republican.
