You should send that info to Dave. He doesn't have country results for southern states prior to 1940, with a few exceptions.

Is it a record by percentage, or raw number? Because it can't be the former (1820).

Margin of victory is a really bad indicator.

Republican A 28%
Republican B 26%
Democrat 46%

According to MOV, this is a Democratic landslide.
