Stuart saves his Family, mostly, but also season 6 of Saturday Night Live.  Also, he's a shallow self-promoter who embodies our culture of superficiality and crudeness. 

To be fair, he has been active and focused in the senate.  I'd have to give him a decent rating as a US senator, and he's a much better politician than screenwriter, but on a personal level I find him crass and tasteless and snarky.  An embarassment to the people of Minnesota.

Cares little about others, is almost exclusively interested in his own pleasure, has no problem calling two children he just met his in order to satisfy his own desires.

And the normal evangelical hypocrisy regarding morality, of course.

Not that this literally makes him a "horrible person", compared to a lot of truly horrible people in this world, but far from FF status.
