Oh no... quickly, we need more Tilden voters, President Tilden has done too good of a job to be let go in the first term!
Labour is unstoppable.

I am quite looking forward to terrified of President Debs's four-term administration. Just saying that is like a political orgasm nightmare.

Anti-monopolism? Labor rights? How could I not vote Weaver?

Weaver. Not even close.

Hold on to your political pants! Does everyone think Teddy Roosevelt would go down so easily? Sure, he's a statist monster, but he's an awesome statist monster and one with enough electibility to keep that radical out of office.

There's better chances for workers' rights, and ways to do it without wrecking the economy.  Workers don't benefit from a wrecked economy.

Most modern economists agree that pro-Gold policies exacerbated the depression of 73-79 and were the reason the Panic of 1893 triggered a major depression and not just a slight recession. Not to mention that massive growth in big railroad companies and speculation were what caused the Panic of 93 in the first place. Weaver is by far the best choice for the economy.

I wasn't referencing any specific event.  I'm thinking what's going on specifically with the economy by this point is hard to predict, after nearly 100 years of us messing with the elections.

What was the point of that comment then? Were you referring to my President Debs thing?

General sentiment regarding the election.  It was not in regards to anything anyone had said, hence I did not quote anyone.

I apologize on Moderator Torie (R-CA)'s behalf. It's quite ridiculous and there's no reason for it to be moved in here. I apologize most of all to Bacon King for having to deal with this ridiculousness. I'd appreciate if this could be mended as soon as possible.

Could someone please provide a link to the master thread for the results maps for the Cathcon alternate history series?  I've been trying to find it (I saw it once), but now I can't seem to locate it.  Thanks Smiley

Voting for four more years of prosperity under President Tilden.  We need more time to kill the machine!

Why is this in Past Election What-ifs? Are they all going to be here from now on?

You see, there are evil forces, fascist, totalitarian dictators, in the world. They seek to crush all life. Unbridled by any form of constitution, they wreak havoc at will. These monsters, these.... moderators, have chosen to place this in Past Election What-Ifs, regardless of local tradition and well established routine. Soon, the world will have changed, with potentially every one of these taking place on this board. We can't resist the change. We can merely choose to move with it or be destroyed by it.
