Most painful 2008 ==> 2012 map for you

Florida's final result/trend lines was most surprising to me because it was all over the place.You had liberal base counties such as Osceola (which has, quite honestly, double-digit trends to Democrats over the last several cycles), Miami-Dade, and Broward trend D.

But, you also had Orange, Palm Beach(!), and strangely enough Volusia trend for Republicans.

Because of poll trends and objectivity to the obvious, I did not expect Mitt Romney to win this election.  But I had predicted an easy Florida win for him because I assumed that the early Palm Beach trends I saw would match in the other blue areas---it did not.

So I'd say that the leftward tilt of Dade County is what lost it for Mitt there

Is it sad that as a Democrat I'm upset that the GOP can't manage to run a caucus properly?
Iowa, Maine both "finding" delegates and votes for Romney(Maine) or not being able to count the votes(Iowa)... makes wonder if the 2012 GOP race was rigged...

Coming from someone whose state couldn't count 400,000 votes until 8 weeks after the election?  That makes me wonder...

Because New York wasn't hit by a devastating hurricane or anything lol
