All but Jack Chick, for I have seen the pamphlets and they saved me from the evils of D&D.

I voted Koresh, Kony, and Jones, but I forgot to vote for Moon, who was definitely a false prophet.  I'm and Adventist, of course, and although I don't consider Ellen White to be as much of a prophet as most people in my church (she was a good teacher and definitely a prophet in the sense that she was one of God's messengers, which is what the term "prophet" simply means.)

I voted for all of them, tho' strictly I'm not sure all of these ever claimed prophethood or had it claimed by their followers.

Since I'm a Mormon, it should be obvious which ones I choose for being "false prophets". Though I will point out that the LDS Church does say that every religion that isn't the LDS Church still has a small bit of truth within it, and early church leaders actually had a sympathy for Islam. Not to the point of considering Mohammad a prophet, but considered him a good "teacher". Same with Martin Luther and a few others.

Joseph Smith, Mohammad, L. Run Hubbard, Sun Myung Moon, David Koresh, Jim Jones, The Pope, Brigham Young and Joseph Kony. Though I vehemently disagree with many of the remaining ones, they didn't claim to be actual prophets.

All of the above... and with the names I don't recognize, all prophets by definition are false.

I don't think the phrase is especially helpful, and neither is the thread.

People who both are atheists and interpret the term 'prophet' in a particular way. We have a lot of them.

Yeah how the hell is Joel Osteen a "prophet"? He's basically just a motivational speaker.

I find it hilarious that currently in the poll, Joseph Smith is considered more of a false prophet than Brigham Young.

In the (o)rthodox teaching St John the Baptist is considered to be the last prophet. He announced the arrival of Christ- who was the fulfillment of the prophets of the Old Testament.  A Pope wouldn't make claim to be a prophet.

No one on this list is a prophet.

Founding a cult (L. Ron Hubbard, Sun Myung Moon), getting into legal problems for ungodly conduct (Ted Haggard, Kony) , or blatant false witness (Jack Chick).

One man's orthodoxy is another's cult.

Definitely not Our Lord, along with Luther, Calvin, Wesley, and Graham. I have various theological disagreements with Chick, Benedict XVI, Falwell, and Mother Teresa but I don't think they are false prophets.
