Just wanted to let Atlas denizens know that we at Daily Kos Elections have completed project to calculate the results of the 2012 presidential election for all 435 congressional districts. You can find our full chart here, and if you'd like to drill down to see our actual spreadsheets for each state (which "show our work" and also have individual county components), you can do so here.

I should also offer a big thanks to Lephead, who was instrumental in helping us gather the necessary precinct-level data from many jurisdictions across the country.

Hello DavidNYC,

I'm Fuzzybigfoot, one of the members here who has been working on our 2012 Presidential Election b/CD map (along with Miles, TJ, Nathan, Shilly, and Jackson).  Thanks to your efforts, we were able to complete it fully just a few days ago.  We owe you a great debt of gratitude for all of your hard work!  And, of course, this:

Enjoy, and thank you!

Sincerely,

Fuzzybigfoot

We're delighted to have been able to help! And nice map!

P.S. If anyone spots any errors or has any questions about our spreadsheets, we welcome your input. We make everything as transparent as possible because we *want* to be double-checked!

I am surprised that in this day and age Barack Obama still lost IL-13 while winning IL-12.
