Graham's approvals are 47 to 39 (+8) among all voters and 66 to 26 (+40) among Republican primary voters.  He bested all choices tested for primary opponents, with Tim Scott coming closest at 54 to 32. 51% of Republican primary voters want Graham to be the Senate nominee in 2014 while 40% want someone more conservative.

Surprisingly good news. Hopefully he pulls it through, especially if Scott gets DeMint's seat.

Davis, Mulvaney or Gowdy could still do it. Cruz and Rubio started in single digits against opponents who were far more popular then than Graham now.

Who could've imagined that selling your soul to the devil can help you win a tough primary.

I would rather have a Democrat than Lindsey Graham, so if he loses a primary or looks looney because of the primary, its a win-win. Anything but another term of Graham.

Tom Davis looks likely to challenge him anyway, but he begins in a very deep hole.

There is currently an effort underway to draft state Sen. Tom Davis to challenge Graham.

The blog he took the pic from is a weird blog.  (It's written by the guy who claimed during the 2010 primaries to have had an affair with Nikki Haley.)

Surprising news. I figured Graham would be toast and tea partied out. There's hope yet.

Huh

Graham is a huge neo-con "moderate", and is one of my least favorite politicians in Washington.
