Landrieu and Hagan voted for partial nukage, not that I think it'll be a BFD in their races.

Cassidy's campaign manager needs to grow up. He calls her "MussoLandrieu" and accuses her of participating in a fascistic endeavour.

Elon has a poll out today. There weren't any head to head matchups, but here a few approval ratings. No one is popular:

Obama: 37/54
McCrory: 33/44
NCGA: 32/47
Hagan: 37/44
Burr: 30/33

None of the Senate Republicans candidates have over 30% name recognition.

Burr's strategy of keeping his mouth shut until it matters has served him well.

Both Landrieu and Maness are attacking Cassidy over the bailout.

Another Democrat is in for CD3. I'm still kinda partial to Thigpen, but this guy's resume sounds pretty cool:

Actually, I take that back. Turns out even Maness has condemned it.

I agree with this guy's take on Hagan and Burr. Neither of them have very strong personal brands (unlike the other Romney-state Democrats running this cycle) so their numbers are more dependent on national tides, for better or worse:

I don't think the race will move lower than Likely R, but Democrats may have an off-chance of competing in NC-06. A fire-breathing Republican like Berger won't have the good will from across the aisle like Coble had.

I'm starting to like Rev. Dan Collison, a Republican running, though:

I don't buy much into voter registration as a reflection of actual voting patterns, but Democrats now outnumber Republicans in CD6:

For comparison, the state as a whole is about 43% D, 31% R, 26% I.

I've been waiting for a Republican(s) from the state legislature to run in LA-06; I might finally get something now.

Senator Dan Claitor will have a decision next week. Claitor represents the south Baton Rouge seat that Cassidy vacated before running for Congress.

Senator Norby Chabert may get in by the year's end as well. He represents a seat down in the bayou. He'd carry the parts of the district from the old CD3, but may struggle with capitol area voters:

Bottom line: we're probably gonna get more candidates.

Democrats won't win Howard Coble's seat I guess, but running a democrat here would boost Hagan's chances.

Why Howard Coble is 7 million times more badass than your Congressman.
