obviously its a bit early but beginning in a month or two, there will likely be a wave of retirement announcements. Any guesses on who the first member to announce will be?

well i meant retiring, not resigning. But if you're going by resignations, Jo Ann Emerson announced she's resigning in February.

At least on the forum. Being from abroad and spending way too much time here, it tends to be my main news source for that sort of thing.

even though its not a retirement but a resignation. Jim DeMint looks to be giving up his seat to head the Heritage Foundation.
