Are you religious?/Were you raised religious?

I tend to find myself skeptical and put off by the large majority of wide eyed true believers. These days I run into a lot of people in "the program".  Talking about how great it is and mindlessly sloganeering as if it was a responsorial psalm.  Or my sponsor said.... as if it was straight from the Heavens. A lot of this is all the same symptom of sickness that people just paper over with religion, drugs, self help, the latest diet, exercise or reality show. Oh Rebecca you must try the new hot yoga, spin class....Did I mention that I'm running a 5k for charity?  Christ, everyone is always trying to sell you on their latest hobbies, interests or paths to salvation.  So ending where I should have began: stop with the sales pitch people- there is a good chance that it is all bull$hit anyway.
