So... When is the next turn coming? Are we waiting for Bill Richardson?
Yeah, we're waiting on Richardson, aka Sirnick. Or........ we could all be douche bags and skip him.

Rolled News Stories

Henry Endorsed by Mark Warner and Claire McCaskill-

It appears Governor Henry is getting a second look by many endorsers. 2 Southern self acclaimed moderate Democrats endorsed him, Mark Warner of Virginia and Claire McCaskill of Missouri.

Biden mistake, says f*** in front of campaign crowd due to microphone troubles-

While at a rally Joe Biden's mic quit working and realizing it he said f***. However as he was saying the word the mic came back on and the crowd was awkwardly silent. Some parents expressed concerns about the incident and stated they regretted taking their children to see Senator Biden.

Moderates and Independents move away from Lincoln following controversial ad-

Senator Blanche Lincoln made an ad last week and aired it in several states. In the ad she talks about how politicians should never compromise on their beliefs and some of the Southern Democrats (generally quite moderate) who were supporting her began to take a 2nd look at others. Although some words were taken out of context Ben Nelson decried her with a scathing press release. However, it also fired up her base and that may invalidate any swing against her from the moderate wing.

Gingrich loses voice, unable to campaign for 1 day under doctors orders-

Following several campaign events Newt Gingrich has lost his voice. In an awkward event on Sunday he spoke to the crowd but sounded hoarse and unappealing. In order to recoup he will be gone on Monday.

Snowe endorsed by Gordon Smith and Susan Collins following late entrance-

Olympia Snowe had received the endorsements of many of her moderate Senate colleagues. Earlier this year they made news by announcing they believed Gravel would be the best Democratic nominee and yesterday they made their choice for the other side. They all pledged to campaign with her and her poll numbers have received a .5% bump according to the RCP Average.

Senator Snowe unveils her first ad, to be aired in New Hampshire and the surrounding New England market.

Olympia Snowe has always believed that America is made up of diversity. We are so different but we're all still Americans together.  Senator Snowe's plan for equality goes further than any other candidate's to address civil rights, women's rights, and individual liberties.  She presents a real alternative to the policies of exclusion favored by the other candidates. Olympia Snowe - together.

Excerpt from press conference in Des Moines:
Reporter: Senator, many have claimed that your policies no longer fit the policies of your party, and you're a quote "Republican In Name Only."  What do you say to that?
Senator Snowe: I think if you look at my thirty years of public service, you will see that I have always been a Republican - always.  I have always believed in fiscal sanity and preserving liberties enshrined to us by our constitution.  What sets me apart from my many of my opponents is that I will accept any proposal from any party as long as it helps the American people.  I believe in compromise and bi-partisanship - two issues that I felt were lacking from the policies of all of the candidates, and what drove me to enter the race.

Governor Dean's remarks in Portsmouth, New Hampshire:

"A little over four years ago, citing faulty intelligence, the Bush administration charged into Iraq in violation of international law and American precedent in foreign affairs. That effort was supported not just by nearly all Republicans, but by Democrats, including the so-called frontrunner, Senator Clinton. Now she says she's against the war. Maybe it was a genuine change of heart. But maybe it's a flip-flop. Do you want someone who can't make up their mind?"

*crowd boos*

"Or do you want someone who opposed the war from the beginning and still wants us out on day one in office?!?!"

*crowd cheers*

"Now, the Republican attack is that by not supporting the war effort, you're betraying our troops, or you're anti-war. On the contrary, it is a colossal disservice to our men and women in uniform to send them into an unwinnable war! And it's a disservice to say that a person can't enter the military because of who they love! On day one, I will sign an executive order repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", and I will work with the generals to transition out of Iraq immediately."

Ms Clinton's Response to the vitriolic lies of Howard Dean in Miami

My opponent Mr Dean has labelled my a flip flipper which is a simple lie, I have stated many times for the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq while leaving a small contingent in Iraq. I don't think Mr Dean understands why American troops need to be in Iraq, We went there to find Nuclear Bombs and there was none, I'll admit that but what we have done in Iraq has highlighted the categorical abuse that the women, men and children of Iraq have suffered under the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein and thanks to our great men and women, the country is more democratic now than many of the citizens of Iraq could ever have hoped for.

I was recently in Iraq, on the outskirts of Baghdad where our American troops were handing out food, water and medical supplies for the Iraqi citizens. If Mr Dean would get off from his comfortable couch in his big Vermont home he'd realize we are in Iraq for a good reason, and that is to ensure that we all have access to Democracy and a safe home.

Thank you.

Senator Snowe releases a second TV ad in New Hampshire:

John McCain and Mitt Romney are both characters out of the same book.  They both change their beliefs and opinions on policy based on which way the wind is blowing.  Olympia Snowe has always stood by her principles and has always believed in saying what she believes in - no matter the political effect.  Do you really want to elect someone as President who jumps on the best political bandwagon that will deliver the easiest support?  Or do you want a President who is firm in what she believes in, but willing to compromise where compromises can be made?

Vote for Olympia Snowe.

Hagel releases his first Ad:

"Hi, I'm Senator Chuck Hagel. In Washington today there is a huge struggle between principle and negotiation. Some stick to their principles and don't negotiate, others have no principles and only negotiate. As a candidate, I believe I stand out because I do represent the people. I am willing to compromise on issues, and I am standing on my own. As a Republican, I have fought for economic reform, but I have also fought against my party on foreign policy. I promise to fight for the American people with my independent nature and together we can turn this country! I hope you join me in this movement!

Barack Obama Ad #3: Good Reasons
Narrator- "Senator Clinton has recently stated that we are still in Iraq for a"good reason". Well frankly Senator, that goes against public opinion and plain common sense. Thousands of American troops dying overseas while not knowing what their mission is, isn't a "good reason". You voted to authorize that war. The people want out of this pointless and costly war. That seems like a "good reason" for Change."
Barack Obama- "Our troops have deposed the dictatorship of Hussein. They're mission is over. It's time to leave Iraq, completely. I have a plan to pull troops out of Iraq by Christmas Eve 2009. Senator Clinton wants to leave our troops there. As your President, I would bring them home."
"I'm Barack Obama, and I Approve This Message."

This ad shall run in Iowa and New Hampshire.

I'm Hillary Clinton and I approve this message

WARNING: THIS AD MAY CONTAIN SOME GRAPHIC IMAGES

These are the reasons we are in Iraq, Senator Obama and Governor Dean want us to leave them behind, but they don't realize - we weren't all built in the worlds greatest country. Iraq needs democracy and they can't do it on their own.

Ad to play in Nevada, Iowa, and New Hampshire

"I'm Howard Dean, and I approve this message. Senator Clinton not only voted to go to war in Iraq, but now claims that we are in there "for good reason", and that we are safer by being in Iraq. But that is demonstrably untrue. From our occupation, Iraq has become less stable, not more. Meanwhile, President Bush and Hillary Clinton have failed to talk about the intervention actually part of the War on Terror. As President, I will pull us out of Iraq as soon as possible and reinforce our efforts in Afghanistan to find and bring Osama bin Laden to justice."

Senator Hagel has announced today that he, too, will be apart of the Afghanistan and Iraq Debate as proposed by Clinton and Harvard University.

"Hopefully it will allow the public to get a more in-depth look at the candidates foreign policy views, which is why I want to take the first step of my republican contenders and join the debate!"
