You can take your guilt by association and shove it, sideways, Antonio. I reserve the right to talk about gerrymanders by Democrats, and I deserve to not be lectured and lumped in with other Republicans on here, precisely because I was among the first to bitch about how legislative Repubs raped Johnston County here in NC. So stick it! Tongue

I wouldn't if I were you. People have a tendency of getting hurt when they get too close to me. Evil

I still find it a tad unfair to criticize a misconduct of the other party when your own engages in it 1000 times more often.

Lets add up all the times The Democrats did it in TX, GA and NC for the past century and then see who is trully done it "1000 times more". Tongue Gerrymandering is a bi-partisan institution in these Southern states precisely because so many of the Republicans are former Democrats who brought their taste for gerrys along with them, just like their taste for that fine southern pork spending.

The problem with your argument is that it silences opponents and perpetuates the problem out of a misguided sense of "political fairness". No the solution is for everyone on both sides to start rising hell at the other. Meanwhile, I'll rise hell at both and you'll like it. Tongue

AZ came within about 1000 barber votes in the closest house race nationwide of being a 4-2 GOP split, so seems pretty fair. Ditto for an 8-4 split in NJ, especially considering one is Lobiondo's seat.

What is the current count/percentages in the Senate race here? Did the margin move to within four points?

Just over 3, actually. Final result was Flake 49.18%, Carmona 46.16% (Flake +3.02). Same numbers reported on the previous page.

That's a very respectable result in Arizona for a Democrat, especially given all the negative publicity Carmona received at he end of the campaign.

Somebody compare that to both the House and the Presidential results.

Carmona's vote share relative to Democratic congressional candidates

1st: 0.31 points over Kirkpatrick
2nd: 1.17 points over Barber
3rd: 4.72 points over Grijalva
4th: 4.98 points over Robinson
5th: 2.73 points over Morgan
6th: 7.00 points over Jette
7th: 9.63 points under Pastor (Pastor's only opponent was a Libertarian)
8th: 3.83 points over Scharer
9th: 3.05 points over Sinema
