After it was conventional wisdom for months that Romney's weak position in Ohio was likely to doom his chances, it seems now that Obama's margin in Ohio is a bit smaller (but this could increase, depending on results on the Western Coast) than his national margin of victory. In fact, Ohio it's the only state where the RCP polling average was more Democratic than the actual result. Any explanations?

Obama is still going to gain a bit in Ohio. There's something like 200,000 provisional ballots left to count (Ohio won't count them until 10 days after the election), and they will likely be relatively strong for Obama.
