Even if it's accurate, Warren obviously wins based on enough Dems "coming home"/the turnout machine.

I do think Brown will come closer than he would have a few weeks ago. He's finally been putting on some effective defense that don't focus on demonizing Warren in a way that doesn't work in Massachusetts. I'd be extremely surprised if he won but at this point I think he loses by 3 or so rather than 5 or 6.

He is being well set up for Governor if he wants it, though. Because this is for better or for worse a machine state there are some genuinely awful Democrats, so depending on who wins that primary I might consider voting for him for that. (Tim Murray would have my vote, though.)

A Republican has no business winning Massachusetts on the day of a presidential election. And it won't happen, although Brown might be gaining.

Ha!

Warren won by 7.4 points, more than what even PPP (!) predicted.

Boston Mayor Menino turned out the most votes for the Dems since the 1960s and 20,000 votes in excess of Warren campaign's estimates.  Brown did not run a good campaign against a neophyte and pissed women off too.  Played to the base in a state where that base is outnumbered.

Warren's margin Tuesday night was over twice what I went into the voting booth expecting to be voting for on Tuesday afternoon.
