Did that Crowley comment hurt that much? Seriously it wasn't that bad.

No, I think it was just the state's fundamentals coming to roost. Even when Carmona was slightly ahead, he never broke 45% in the polls. Once Flake and the GOP began to take this one seriously, he was finished.

It's like a reverse Linda McMahon situation.

Dang, he was my favorite possibility for new Democratic senator. Oh well, I guess when McCain retires (which shouldn't be long), Arizona will get a Dem Senator then.

When McCain's seat is up again in 2016, the Democrats will (hopefully) be making a serious play for the state's electoral votes, so yeah, just need to wait four more years.

Carmona needs high turnout from Hispanics if he is to win. Maybe lure them to the polls with pinatas?

Arizona has proven that they are completey batsh**t crazy. Flake might have the most right-wing Voteview score of anyone ever in the entire history of the US. It's 0.988.

Yep just like Jon Brunning will be entering the Senate in January and Sarah Steelman will continue the tradition of a loser in the previous election for Governor coming back to win MO's Class 1 Senate seat. Oh wait..... Tongue

Those words "will" and "shall" can be so damn dangerous in this business, you know. Wink
