Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

Public Service Commissioner, District 5: David Staples (L), lost
U.S. Representative, District 10: Charles Darwin (write-in), lost
State Senator, District 47: Tim Riley (D), lost
State Representative, District 116: Terry England (R), won
District Attorney, Piedmont Circuit: blank

Probate Judge: blank
Superior Court Clerk: blank
Sheriff: James Scott, Sr. (D), lost
Tax Commissioner: blank
Coroner: blank
Chief Magistrate: blank
County Commission Chair: blank
Board of Education, District 8: Mitch Churchill (R), won

Amendment 1 (Charter Schools): No, passed
Amendment 2 (allow multi-year rental agreements): Yes, passed

I voted for a Democrat wherever there was one on the ballot; I also voted for the Libertarian in an L v. R race. Paul Broun ran unopposed but I took part in the "Charles Darwin write-in campaign" protest vote against him. Most offices only had Republicans running unopposed; I left all of those races blank except for the two GOP candidates I personally knew and liked.
