He was retiring, so what seat to eliminate was a no-brainer.

Not fully decided yet.

president:  probably Mitt Romney
us senate: probably Rayburn Douglas Smith, Libertarian candidate
us house:  I'm leaning toward John Murphy, an independent socialist
state senate:   Tom O'Brien (D)
state house:  probably Steven Mentzer (R)
attorney general:  Marakay Rogers (Libertarian)
auditor general:  lean John Maher (R)
state treasurer:  lean Diana Vaughan (R)

There are no measures on the statewide ballot.  Well, there are four measures listed on the League of Women Voters website but they all deal specifically with Philadelphia so I'm not sure whether they'll be on my ballot.  I haven't seen any local questions yet.  I wish the school board members were up for re-election.  All of them.

President: Obama
Senate: Gillibrand
Congress [NY-1]: Bishop

President: Obama/Biden
Senate: 3rd party/write-in (on a whim when I get there)
House: Green, if available, if not, Dem
All local races: Green, if available, if not Dem

I admit that I should know more about these races but I'm only living here because of school and follow home politics much more closely. The outcomes won't change either way around here anyway.

It's not an okay answer, and I know that, but: Romney. Got too tight for my liking in PA and I couldn't go on knowing my vote had even the slightest chance of being a part of any sort of ridiculous upset.
