Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.:
Aside from the odd conflation of party continuity with ideological continuity (but then, it admits that there's a separate 'racism spectrum' that doesn't really enter into this one), this is really fascinating.

I spent the winter writing songs about getting better:
I can understand the 19th century Democrats still being on the left and Republicans on the right because of how awkward it'd be to have to flip those parties at some point, but what's with the Free Soilers, Progressives and Farmer-Labor being on the right?
