Those tiny locations vote first on November 6 @ midnight EST (6am Europe).

What are your predictions ?

Dixville is very hard to predict this year, because the population there dropped from about 100 in the 90s to about less than 10 this year (only 1 hotel remains there and the owners and employees are voting).

Hart's location should have about 30 or so voters.

The previous results:

My prediction:

Dixville Notch: 6-4 Obama/Romney

Hart's Location: 13-13-2 Obama/Romney/Paul (write-in) or 13-13-1-1 Obama/Romney/Paul (write-in)/Johnson

Update:

There will be 10 registered voters in Dixville Notch this year and for the first time in 50 years, the voting will NOT take place in The Balsams Hotel (because it was sold and is now demolished), but in a ski lodge not far away.

Doesn't all the early voting we have now kind of make this irrelevant?

These are real counted votes though (even if these are not indicative).

With early votes, we just get a party breakdown, but no actual votes.

Wasn't Obama in 2008 the first time in 40+ years that Dixville Notch had gone for a Democrat?

I was at Dixville Notch four years ago and it was a pretty cool experience. There were representatives from the Chinese media there...

Yes. They're not the best barometers of the country (understatement of the year). Before 2008, they lasted voted for a Democrat in... 1968, when they voted for Hubert Humphrey, who of course lost anyway. In 1992, Bill Clinton managed to come in fourth, behind H. W., Perot and the Libertarian candidate.

Yeah, this doesn't exactly sound like the nationwide numbers in 1992.

    George H. W. Bush - 15
    H. Ross Perot - 8
    Andre Marrou - 5
    William J. Clinton - 2
