I doubt McCaskill is only down 2... Obama probably loses this by 7-9 points.

M-D is one of the best pollsters out there and I could easily see Adkin willing this.

They seem to lean Republican in some states in 2008, but got others well.  They nailed Florida and Missouri, but had McCain up in Ohio and North Carolina.    They were perfect in 2004.  I really want to see their Ohio poll this year.  They nailed it in 2004.  If Obama is winning in the final Mason-Dixon Ohio poll, that will give me the clue that Obama has won.

The one time they leaned Dem was in 2010 when they had Alex Sink ahead by three in their final poll in the Florida governor's race.

In addition to the Florida poll tomorrow, M-D will also release a new Minnesota poll tomorrow.

Well, even a three point lean puts Romney up by double digits.

The point I'm making is that we have four polls from MO, all showing Romney with a comfortable lead, all recent.  Three of them have it double digit lead and only PPP has it about half of that.  PPP also shows no movement.  Are these three off and PPP right?  Does PPP have a problem?

No doubt Romney's leading, but there's no way he's up by 13. I doubt he wins it by much more than Bush won it in 2004, which was by 7.

If Todd Akin wins a Senate seat it is Missouri that is a joke.

Uhh, this is only a poll of the I-4 corridor in Florida:

Well, whomever wins the I-4 corridor usually wins the state.  It is the swing region of that swing state.

Mason-Dixon also polled 625 people in Miami-Dade County for the Miami Herald.  52-43 Obama among Miami-Dade likely voters.  Obama won 58-42 in 2008.  Romney has a 29 point lead among Miami-Dade Hispanics, who are mostly Cuban.

All these races are a little Republican friendly by 3 or 4 points.

M-D has fallen off by quite a bit.  They are far off the gold standard they were in 2004.

Seems to me the last couple elections Ras has erred on the side of the Dems and understated the GOP vote.

...wat?

this is the dumbest post in Atlas history

Does anyone still consider Missouri a bellwether? We've definitely lost some bellwethers recently. Missouri swung to the right, and Delaware and New Mexico swung to the left. We're left with only Ohio.

Well, it is.  It is also traditional to post these types of things.
