Obama at 49 %

SPLENDID  !

White voters side with Romney by a 15-point margin (56 to 41 percent)

Time for Krazen to panic, Obama wins easily with a gap that small.

This is a tracking poll, so apparently it's a separate entity from their other national polls.

Okay news.

Yet another poll shows that Obama's problem (challenge) is with enthusiasm. He lost 2 points on their LV since the last poll, but actually gained 1 point in the RV to a 7 point RV lead (Obama 50/Romney 43).

Once again Dems wished voting was mandatory

Not a great poll, and Romney has gained two points since their last one:  http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/polls/index.html

This is the start of a tracking poll that will be updated every day until election day though. I'm not sure if the results should really be compared to their last national poll although I see they've chosen to do that in their release.

They should only be comparing the polls if they have same methodology. Anyone checked that?

Yep, just like most of the rest of today's polls. Romney will surge in this poll as well as he is surging throughout the nation.

I wouldn't call two points a "surge."  I would call it a "trend."  Smiley
