Good, no one was stupid enough to choose the balanced budget option.

Yes, a balanced budget is impossible with this Presidential an Congressional combination.

However the most impossible developement here is the 'permanent' repeal of estate taxes, etc.  There can be no permanent repeal, as there is always the possibility that someday a different congress will reinstate them.
