Or homemade pizza - I made a wicked artichoke and asparagus pizza.

However awful you may be, Mr Inks, at least you have great taste.

Interesting note, if I add an extra day per week to my exercise from 3 days to 4 days, it buys me an extra 80-100 calories a day.

With that kind of outlook, Bushie, you won't get anywhere.

Regarding the breakfast thing... if time really is the issue here, go get yourself some of those flavoured instant oatmeal thingies.

Oatmeal is one of my fav things for breakfast. I just get the original, and add my own mixed fruit to it. Maybe one day it's apple, the next is strawberry.

That'd be even better, of course, but this is Bushie. Baby steps, Andrew, baby steps.

Ahem... You looked at the wrong menu items.  I always get 2 bacon, egg, & cheese biscuits for breakfast and a Double Quarter w/ cheese.  Since they took away my Diet Dr Pepper, I have to get a Coke.  I havent developed a taste for Diet Coke.

Well, perhaps you should get a Sausage and Egg McMuffin with a Fruit and Yogurt Parfait for breakfast and a Big Mac with Medium Fries combo for lunch and dinner, with a water or Coke Zero to drink for all three meals.

No, no, no. Artificial sweeteners are the last thing Bushie should be ingesting.

Just as I thought, I did gain 2 pounds this morning thanks to overdoing it yesterday.  I allowed myself to eat foods I enjoy, and that was my mistake.  Back to it, today.

Unless you consumed 7,000 calories more than maintenence, you haven't actually gained 2 pounds.

Water weight?

If Matt Damon gained another 85lbs or so.. the stache is almost creepy enough for the role.

The best doppelganger is, of course, this:

Yes, but I hope you're not implying that my non-normalcy is somehow bad...

"Non-normalcy" is not bad. Your particular brand of it, however, …

It's the best I can do to offer a positive incentive (since negative incentives clearly didn't work before).  If I could send him more, I would, because I genuinely want to see him do well.

I'll send him $20 as well.

Its not health food, but it is better than regular, calorie-laden pop.  Plus, just because I'm on a diet doesn't mean I should totally shun pop.  I refuse to drink only water.  I need to increase my water intake, but I refuse to switch totally to water.

Ah, it seems you think that the only kind of beverages out there are soda and water. That isn't true in the slightest.
There are all sorts of things that would be better, from kefir to iced tea to juice.

Diet soda isn't good for you in the slightest -- you do know they use Splenda to fatten pigs, right?

Should it ever arise, I have a brother who is a plant manager of a fairly decent-sized plant in Utah - I could mention you to him if you end up needing a job.

Sibling hate, eh?
