This season was basically a disaster.

BushOK NEEDS to find himself a hot, fresh lady, the type that can whip him into shape both literally and figuratively, the type that can take him shopping for healthy food, show him how to cook and take care of himself, and to give him a sip of wine, just enough for him to sleep it off for 14 hours the next morning.

I don't know about the rest of the audience, but frankly, the plot arc this season has been a disaster. The weather. The job he will inevitably lose. The A/C theft that was simply forgotten about. The teasers about the trip to Wal Mart that will likely be the first thing to begin next season. We need action. We need sex. We need something to fire us up - an unplanned pregnancy, an arrest, a night where BushOK just gets absolutely trashed, something to peak our interest again. I certainly hope he has something cooking in his over for next season. I am not sure how much longer I can hold on hoping for another Susan/Tiffanye (with an E, mind you), to come along.

Tonight's workout is over. It was just a "challenge" today and the weekly weigh-in. According to the Wii Balance Board, I lost 3 pounds this week! The kitchen scales show 2 pounds! This next week (January 26 - February 1), I've got a scheduled work out on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday, leaving me to do my own workout Sunday and Thursday followed by a challenge and weigh-in on Friday. I'll take Tuesday night off and do a very light workout.

On the Biggest Loser TV show, a "challenge" is a physical activity game.

Good Friday Evening! It was a really good day to end Week 12.  I've got a few things to do either tonight or tomorrow.  I've got to make a Walmart run and get my oil changed.  I do have to make time tonight to work out and weigh in and complete Week 1 of The Biggest Loser Challenge.  So, I will probably do that after the Utah Jazz/LA Lakers game at 11:00 pm.  I'm in no hurry for bed time tonight, so it may be 1:00 am before I hit the sack, because I've got all day tomorrow to run my errands.  This coming week, Week 13, will be interesting.  I'll work the normal 40 hours, but I may get in some overtime Thursday night, January 31 - Friday morning, February 1 10:00 pm-2:00 am.  That would be some sweet overtime!  I can make my decision as late as Thursday Midday.  Stay tuned on that.

What decision is there to make?  When someone offers you overtime, the only acceptable answer is yes, unless you're having a heart attack or your appendix has burst (not that you have appendicitis - you can work through that; to say "no" to overtime, one must be on the verge of imminent death).

I will most likely take the OT, especially to help out with some of the VTO I took earlier in the month.  There should be more overtime next week after work (Feb 4-8), so I will definitely jump on what I can.

Its been a pretty good day.  I went grocery shopping this morning and got some fresh food, such as fruits and vegetables and lean meats, etc.  I'm looking forward to fixing those this week.

Thanks for the grocery shopping update. I do that a lot myself!  What was in the etcetera pile?  Potato chips? Cheetos (damn those are good, and I get a pang when I walk by them, and I have to grab one of my hands that is reaching out for them with the other to stop myself). But I have been Cheetos free for about 6 months. Oh, the willpower!

The etcetera pile includes 1% milk, a bottle of Strawberry-Banana V8 Fusion, Honey Nut Cheerios, Fig Newtons, and some cheat snacks.

I am a bit disappointed with that list too. Honey Cut Cheerios are full of sugar. V8 fusion is OK. Fig Newtons are still full of sugar. Try getting nuts like almonds or pistachios or snacks. I don't know what else you got though. Maybe it would impress me. Tongue

The cheat snacks part is more disconcerting.

The cheat snacks are microwavable popcorn.  Not the best, but not the worst.

Cereals are like 130 cals max for a 3/4 cup serving, who cares. The Fig Newtons are probably the only thing I'd caution against in that lot.

Plus, Honey Nut Cheerios, like regular Cheerios, are good for cholesterol, so while it has sugar, it has other benefits as well.

Is that it? If I so I can generally approve of this grocery list.

Look, dawg, no one needs Honey Nut Cheerios. Regular Cheerios are just as good, if not better.

This is patently false.
