Hey, they are my kids and no one can say different.  Maisha considers me their father.

I don't know what entity "Maisha" is, but it's not the Kenyan Government or any subsidiary of it.  Unless of course you want to do some time in a Kenyan hoosegow.

Maisha is the name of the Orphanage where these children are fed and educated.

I believe that you believe that.

Alternative offer: I'll pay 1/2 the cost of a suit. That way, if one is too much, you can at least still have one.

Simfan, kindly stop acting like a big shot.

I think the thread needs a flag and that picture is perfect.

The picture is wrong.  The point was not even in the same picture as my head.

It is only 7:45, but I'm already ready for bed.  I just took a shower and am waiting for my hair to dry.  I will set two alarms in the morning.  The first alarm will go off in 7 hours 15 minutes at 3:00, the second alarm will go off at 4:05 am.  I want to be up no later than 4:00.  I'm still trying to grasp that at 9:15 am my day will be half over!

Do you not want to take up my offer?

Do you not want to take up my offer?

I'm thinking about it.  I'm in no position to buy a suit right now, though.  First off, I want to lose some weight first so a suit will look better and second, my mother wants to buy me a suit when I do lose weight.  You would be in line for the third suit.

...if I'm running late to work, its nice to just throw on jeans, shirt, and shoes and call it good.

How can you wear jeans?  Even I find them uncomfortable, and you weigh 300 pounds.

Ahem... 265 pounds...  I have to tuck my shirt in in order for the jeans not to start hurting me.

Anyway, I'm home from a busier day at work.  The day was a fair amount busier, enough to make VTO not a possibility.  So, I managed to make it all the way until 2:30.  I did find out this morning that to accommodate my new desk assignment, I will be working 5:00-13:30 beginning tomorrow.  The person that shares the desk with me comes in at 14:00.  So, I will be getting up at roughly 3:30 am.  I would get up at 3:00, but I'm going to try to do a lot of my morning routine the night before such as my shower, so 3:30 or even 3:45/4:00 should be plenty.

VTO shouldn't be a possibility because you should always say no.  How do you expect to raise a family if you're not making any money?

Ah, so NCY or whoever it was can offer to buy Bushie Thanksgiving dinner but I can't buy him a suit?

First off, I want to lose some weight first so a suit will look better

No need to reject me in such an indirect manner.

He should have been talking about it via PM as well.  Others have made offers of help, or given advise via PM

I don't get it.. I'm a husky gentleman, and I find jeans comfortable. Of course, I only get to wear them after work and on weekends.. but still.

They're not usually structured in as roomy a way as full-fit trousers.  I suppose you might be a small-waisted fat, while some slims may have very wide, womanly hips.  I wear a 38 inch waist while not being really all that fat (5'11", about 190 lbs.) - just big hips I guess, and a strong preference for VERY roomy pants.

I never wear jeans, one because they squeeze my crotch, and two because they're so boring. I prefer my pants to be colored, like reds, greens, blues, yellows, pinks, etc. If BushKE would buy into my fashion advice, he could buy multcolored pants and just wear a navy jacket and look so spiffy all the time!

I'll see SimFan's suit and pony up half the cost of a (moderately priced) gym membership, provided that he would go for at least half an hour at least three times per week with no exceptions. I think that would do a lot more good for him than new clothes for the moment. And I believe Inks offered to help with the cost of groceries a while back. Forget a job. He's doing just fine on the kindness of strangers Tongue
