For the first time in a long time, I finally feel peace at my job and with my job.  Things are continuing to transpire that really makes me believe I'll be there for a quite a while.  They are trying to get me a security clearance for the US Forest Service, I just went to get the federal fingerprinting done today, which is why I was a half hour late clocking out.  I now have two accounts to support with the US Department of Agriculture (Forest Service) and the US Department of the Treasury (Social Security).  They are going to start working on getting me on permanent next Wednesday when my 90 days expire.  It still may take some time from there, but they'll get the ball rolling.  I have overtime opportunities through next Friday, at least, which I've signed up to work tomorrow night/Friday morning.  I know I can't get too comfortable, but I feel good about where things are headed in the next several months.

It is 18:15 and I will be headed back to work in about 3 hours 15 minutes.  I will be working from 22:00-02:00 tonight.  I will get $23 an hour tonight for all 4 hours.  Meaning after taxes, I will cash in about $80.  $23 includes the regular $12/hour, plus 1.5 OT = $18/hour + $5/hour incentive = $23.  It will be busy tonight, but i'm looking forward to it.  I'm looking forward to tonight.  After I get home at 02:15, I will watch a little Weather Channel and hit the sack by 02:45 and wake up about 07:15 for 4 1/2 hours sleep.  This is going to be fun!

I will be leaving for work in 12 minutes at 21:30.  I'll get, of course, 4 hours in tonight which means everything after 11:30 am tomorrow will be time and a half!

Good Friday Morning and Happy February 2013!!  I had an AWESOME late night/early morning!  It was back to back to back to back to back calls all night long, but they were all quick calls and it felt good being able to answer these customers' questions and finding out they have money to spend!  I was excited every time I saw money being deposited on their account, almost felt like finding money in my account!  This was indeed a Wow, God type 4 hours!  I had SOO much fun at WORK!!! I will definitely be doing this again for the March deposit which will be from 10:00 pm Thursday, February 28 to 2:00 am Friday, March 1, 2013!!

I wasn't high, I was just delirious.   I was sleep deprived at 2:30 am and only managed 5 hours sleep.  So, I am still extremely tired and may see an early night in my future!

Has anyone here yet congratulated Jeff for seemingly now thriving in the work environment?  Or is the general sentiment here not to take any of that at face value?

Thanks, Torie!  I feel good about what I've done this week.  I ended up getting 4 1/2 hours Overtime this week.  I will have a nice looking paycheck next Friday!
