That's not true. You're not losing weight. Because it's torture this season. You said it yourself. How could you be losing weight?

I know I haven't gained anything, but I haven't lost anything, either.

Then your weight has to be exactly what it was before....or one of those statements is false. Smiley
That's adjusting for lunch and clothing.

Memphis, looking for girls in church is a terrible and sacrilegious idea.

The term 'zero marginal product worker' comes to mind.

Mmm I was thinking the same thing. Honestly, what's the chance they're just diverting calls from Bushie at this point? MasterJedi or BRTD, is this something is that done in call centres?

Well then it means the whole office is fated to be chopped pretty soon. Or maybe it's the whole Christmas thing.

Bushie, have you joined a church in Utah? People are usually willing to extend an invitation on Thanksgiving if you make it known that you have nowhere to go. Cause the thought of you eating Thanksgiving dinner at Golden Corral by yourself is so damn depressing. No offense.

Yes, I have joined the First Southern Baptist Church of Salt Lake City.  I didnt ask anybody as I hate inviting myself.  I've already had my Thanksgiving Dinner for 2012.  It is depressing, but I'll be going home for Christmas so the Holidays won't be a total loss.

No one invited you, or at the very least asked you what your plans were for Thanksgiving?  What sort of depressing antisocial church do you go to?!?

I just realised that the thought of someone asking me about my
Thanksgiving plans, or any plans, at my church would be extremely bizarre. What, are they suppose to come up to you and just ask "what are you doing for Thanksgiving?"

I've decided to make today day 1.  I will check in with the forum every day with my current weight and with what I ate that day.  There is no sense in waiting until even December to get started.  I don't want a reward/punishment on the other end, other than that which comes by feeling better or feeling worse.  I know you guys are here for me and will post what I need to hear.  I will have my starting weight within 30 minutes.

Bushie, you need to start going to shows and hardcore dancing. It's such a workout.

NO.

I know only one other person who gets to work 40 minutes early, and she drives us all nuts...

How so? Where do you work?

She's overly obsessive, orders way too much product in order to not run out (and I mean WAY too much), posts on Facebook about how hard she works, when she really doesn't work that hard, and tends to complain a lot.  She also gets there insanely early and none of us understand why.

Sounds like Bushie. What is your field?

SimFan must have a lot of money to blow if he's giving away a free suit. Or more likely he's making the statement for the prestige, knowing the offer will never go through. Which is very silly.

No, but I know Bushie doesn't. He's not going to go for the $2,000 Golden Fleece suit. If he would go, he'd opt for something from the Red Fleece line or something.
I don't even own one, but just from window shopping, I'm rather unimpressed with Brooks Brothers. Joseph A Bank always seem to have a far better look.

I once went shopping for a dinner jacket at Paul Stuart. I asked him if he had anything under $1,000.  He told me to go look at Brooks, or "Joseph A. Bank, really". I nearly slapped him.

I'll be incorporating some cardio while I watch the Biggest Loser.  I will look dumb doing it, but nobody's in the apartment with me.  I'll be marching in place while watching the show.

Good!

Oh, and today at work, I've started drinking more water.  I drank 40 oz. of water today and only 20 oz of soda while at work.  I know 40 oz (5 glasses) is not the 6-8 glasses of water I should be at, but its roughly about 4 1/2 glasses (36 oz) more than I would have in an average day.

Read this on diet soda....keep up the water.

There's nothing within the diet soda that is actually fattening. The reason we see correlation of weight maintainance/gain with diet soda is this- that people choose to eat fattening foods when drinking it- i.e. the "Coke Zero and Big Mac diet". Aspartame isn't the cause. Sucralose isn't the cause. Silly dieting choices are. Diet soda isn't health food, but it isn't what's making Bushie fat.

But again, I'd recommend more seltzer.

Steak? Good choice. If you're eating unhealthy food, best it be good unhealthy food, at least. And I've found it's very hard to mess up steak.

I bet there's a very high correlation between the number of salad bars at regular restaurants (i.e. those that don't focus solely on salads) per capita and the percentage voting Republican. Salad bars in restaurants is a very red state phenomenon.

One would have thought that there would have been an inverse correlation. Or do liberals prefer to eat a lot of plated salad?

Hmm. Only time I've seen a salad bar in the city is in the tourist restaurants.

But I would have thought liberals like to make their own salad,  parlaying for parsley washed with water filtered from a mandala from Mandalay and so forth.

Link to the hotel buffet? Hotel buffets are the best. When I was in Beijing, they had an AMAZING spread. Blew the local Chinese Buffet out of the water. Noodles, dumplings- all for breakfast! They even made you waffles! In China! Give a minute and I'll pull up some pictures.
