Eh, it doesnt matter. He'll be at a different company by that point.

With days like today, I highly doubt I'll be at a different company by the end of June.

Do tell...

Haven't we learned in earlier seasons that your job is as risk even when they praised your work?

I just fear that, regardless of your performance, up and leaving for 10 days a few months after you start working will not look good and you will be fired because of it, even if they say it is OK when you ask for the time off.

I think he is working on a government account. I am not sure if that means he is a government employee.

Then you have no job security! The Republicans will surely throw you out! Run for the hills!

I love The Fresh Market! I wish they had one around here. Whole Foods is great if you can afford it, but Trader Joes is better if you are on a budget and are looking for healthier items. I've never gone grocery shopping at Wal Mart, so I can't comment on what that's like.

Shopping healthy really isn't that hard though.

I mean, as long as BushOK stays away from processed foods, sugars, simple carbs, and eats a lot of vegetables, lean meats, whole grain, complex carbs and the like, he will be fine. I recommend going no carb for 2 weeks and then eating just complex carbs,  but I understand that could be difficult for him to do.

But just use your head. Fast food is bad. Fried foods are bad. Heavy carb meals are bad. Sugar is bad. I don't even recommend fruit, as I hardly ever eat it due to how much sugar is in them, but a banana here and there is good for you. If BushOK feels more comfortable having his friend help him initially, great, but it isn't that hard to do on your own.

A woman would be the saving grace of this show. He'll never come out. I'm sure that, like alcohol, he was taught that being gay is an evil choice that only sinners choose to do to piss off their parents.

Yes. I fear BushOK will never know the love we know in our lives, and that, my dear, is a crying shame. I hope he finds his prince charming one day.

Will season 5 rebound from the shortcomings of season 4?

BushOK NEEDS to find himself a hot, fresh lady, the type that can whip him into shape both literally and figuratively, the type that can take him shopping for healthy food, show him how to cook and take care of himself, and to give him a sip of wine, just enough for him to sleep it off for 14 hours the next morning.

I don't know about the rest of the audience, but frankly, the plot arc this season has been a disaster. The weather. The job he will inevitably lose. The A/C theft that was simply forgotten about. The teasers about the trip to Wal Mart that will likely be the first thing to begin next season. We need action. We need sex. We need something to fire us up - an unplanned pregnancy, an arrest, a night where BushOK just gets absolutely trashed, something to peak our interest again. I certainly hope he has something cooking in his over for next season. I am not sure how much longer I can hold on hoping for another Susan/Tiffanye (with an E, mind you), to come along.

I am a bit disappointed with that list too. Honey Cut Cheerios are full of sugar. V8 fusion is OK. Fig Newtons are still full of sugar. Try getting nuts like almonds or pistachios or snacks. I don't know what else you got though. Maybe it would impress me. Tongue

Did we ever establish how these kids feel about a white man showing up and suddenly calling himself their father because he gives them $30 a month? This whole plot arc fascinates me.

You have to empathize with BushOK here. The poor man wants a lady and a family so he can feel worthwhile. One that will look up to him as the provider and their rock. He wants it so bad that he has taken to calling these sponsor kids his own, and wants them so desperately that he still thinks he will uproot himself one day and move to the Kenyan jungle, despite having trouble living on his own in America.

This is a fascinating story, much more interesting than the weather or discussing his jobs. I can only hope season 5 will center around BushOK's transformation into an American-African, much like Wiklus transformed from a human to an alien in Peter Jackson's District 9, starting with watching the World Cup qualifiers and then progressing to his inevitable shedding of his white skin for the dark chocolate layer that lies beneath. I am full of hope that season 5 will turn things around.

I just think BushOK is too quickly discounting their grandparents. Sure, they may be poor and cannot provide adequately for them, but that does not mean they are not family and they are not loved by someone. I just think it is short sighted  that he assumes they have no one merely because he is sending them money a month.

How are you sure you'll have job security in Africa when you are able to finally make your return to your home country? I'm sure the unemployment in Kenya isn't any better than it is in America. And I'm sure the call centers there are even worse, unless, of course, it's like India, where a call center employee is treated like royalty because they get to talk to westerners.

His over the top euphoria is more in line with stimulants than depressants. Maybe Bushie has taken up meth.

I don't know. I can get pretty excited about stuff when I'm completely trashed. He is way too excited for pot though. It's probably alcohol. I expect him coworkers all got drunk on the overnight shift and he partook in the festivities.

If he found the bottle, congrats to him. I just hope he knows him limits. Working while buzzed can be a great feeling. Last year, after my first mock deposition, my team went out and pounded drinks for an hour for lunch and then went to class at 1:30. It was the best class I have ever been to!
