this will probably help Romney, since he has big 'Mo' now, and turnout will be greater. 

I predict Dem turnout will be lower now that the enthusiasm for Obama amongst swing voters has dimmed significantly.

This is not "siding" with the Obama campaign, it is siding with the U.S Contitution.
