If the Romney campaign had the stamp of approval of George Walker Bush I'd worry. His father turned a 90% approval rating for winning a war into a 38% reelection effort. Bush, himself, turned his war-winning ratings into a defeat before Osama Bin Laden was gracious enough to endorse his opponent the week of the election. The last thing any Republican should do is ask a Bush about how to win elections.

Dubya never lost a presidential election. Maybe Romney should ask how to win one, considering he lost the primary last time around and may lose this one. Tongue

First, Bush lost 2008 for the GOP due to his incompetence. Second, as I said, Osama Bin Laden endorsed his opponent the week of the election. Without that stroke of luck, Bush would in all probablity lost in 2004.
