The amount of thought and planning that has gone into this is unprecedented.

Which shows how scared they are...

To use a chess analogy, I am supremely confident we will lay a "check" upon Obama
'll tonight, and only now will the Obama campaign start to realize what has been happening (i.e., we sacrificed a few pieces, something every chess master has to do to eventually win, but it was necessary in order to corner Team Obama with a "checkmate" in late October/early November; congratulations on "winning" September!).

"Ten thousand dollar bet?" = pawn
"I like to fire people" = pawn
"I'm running for office, for Pete's sake" = pawn
"I was a seriously conservative governor" = pawn
"London isn't prepared for the Olympics" = pawn
Etch-a-sketch remark = pawn
Taking CO/MN/MO for granted, prolonging primary = pawn
"Corporations are people my friends" = pawn
"Let Detroit go bankrupt" = bishop
Giving a senile old man primetime RNC slot = bishop
Running against entire Gubernatorial record = knight
Shadily refusing to release tax returns = knight
Picking a VP who ties him to a platform plank that alienates seniors = rook
Releasing a tax plan that imbalances the budget while running on fiscal issues = rook
Utterly failing to prove he's not an out of touch elitist who can't relate to Americans = Queen

I hope Romney has enough money to buy more pieces Sad

"I was a seriously conservative governor" = pawn

It was worse than that: "severely", making it sound like some sort of medical condition.
