I think the Liberals losing the Northeast Senate seat to TPP is also worth mentioning. Tongue

And by "losing" do you mean handing the seat to them a silver platter? Tongue

And the TPP "losing" the Northeast gubernatorial seat, as well. Wink

Yes, but we still regard Nix as one of our own, so yes, I guess we did, but we hope that he will still support the labor agenda, as the TPP has not given a common agenda

Raise minimum wage to keep pace with inflation, we don't feel it is our business to meddle in environmental foreign policies, but we favor domestic ones at home, as I am the author of the Green Fund, which set aside $30 billion to allow businesses to invest and clean up their acts, and education funding must be increased at the federal level to allow more students access to loans, but our secondary schools must have a regional focus, obviously.

The Atlasian Post.
ALL HEADLINES, ALL BIAS, ALL TYPEFACES, ALL THE TIME

"IT'S A HORSERACE!"
SIX TO BATTLE FOR TWO SENATE SEATS
SIMFAN AND SoS EARLY LEADERS
SNOWSTALKER CLOSE BEHIND
CAN THEY KEEP THE MOMENTUM
OR WILL OTHER BREAKTHROUGH?

Controversy over executive privilege
NAPOLEON INVOKES IT IN SOIA CASE
SEVERAL SENATORS DISPLEASED
PUNDITS CLAMOUR FOR IMPEACHMENT,
BUT PRESIDENT SHOWS THAT HE WON'T BUDGE.

A third term?
Comment by pres. sparks rumours
Says he was just joking,

some strongly opposed, but many
are receptive to the idea.

OVEREAGER IN THE WINGS
Politicos declare hypothetical runs
SNOWBALL FOR ASSEMBLY
WOLFENTOAD FOR GOVERNOR
BUT NEITHER SEAT IS OPEN-YET

For the record, I have never declared officially for assembly, but have said that if you succeed in your senatorial race, I will participate in the special election following.

Noted. However you are still declaring your intent- and we'll see if it'll have an effect. I'm glad you're banking on my win.

Why not? No one would judge you. I could even say that in a press release.

I'm not sure whether I should act on idealistic policies, or treat this as a place to test what I know of Machiavellian techniques. My political positions differ enough that it would be obvious that I would be voting for my personal interest, to have a chance to get an assembly seat, then for what I view as best for the senate and nation. I might end up with you as a second preference after nix's endorsement, but past that I feel it dishonest.

They can't really merge, that would make two big parties and I think people didn't like it when there were two big parties in the game.
